Spring into parkdale 2014 collage

It may be cold and the snow feels like it’s here to stay but spring is just around the corner, and with it brings another fabulous Spring into Parkdale festival!
2015 will be the third year for the festival and each year it gets bigger and better!

In our first two years we saw some (very) cold temperatures, with the festival happening in mid to late April, so this year’s festival will take place on Saturday May 9th!

There will be giveaways, performances, a sidewalk sale and lots of other fun things happening all along Queen Street West throughout the day. Stay tuned for updates and details about the event. If you have questions about how to participate please don’t hesitate to contact us!

FREE PARKDALE Art + Design + Food Tours – Part Three!

Gallery_crawl_yellow_green

As we head into the end of 2014 we are proud to announce the third part to our Parkdale Gallery Crawl series. Beginning in September we toured a different section of Queen Street for a fun filled evening, discovering some of the best stores, galleries and restaurants in the area. Celebrating the great art, design and food in the neighbourhood, we have also been able to meet the business owners, artists, chefs and people that make the area so unique. Pictures can be seen here and here and itineraries for the first and second walk can be found here and here.

This month’s walk will focus on the middle section (along Queen from Lansdowne to Sorauren), offering another evening of exciting discoveries. Please join us as we explore some of the stores, galleries, bars and restaurants along Queen Street West that make Parkdale so great. Happening Thursday November 27, from 6-8:00 pm, this will be our final walk of 2014. For a full itinerary and to RSVP click here – Max. 50 participants
